My gun

Since 2004 I have been using, in my opinion, one of the best pistols ever made not only for law enforcement purposes but also for shooting sports.
The CZ 75 SP01 is aside from its "Classic" sister CZ 75 improved in many aspects, which you cannot fully appreciate unless you "really" start using the gun.

Definitely the best feature of this pistol is its perfect balance, that is instantly reflected in amazingly superb gun control.

Holding this gun reminds me my infancy when my father told me that a good knife has to be perfectly balanced, the same feeling I have every time I hold SP01.

Along with the extended frame the center of gravity moves to the front and is compensated with enhanced magazine carrying up to 19 rounds in 9mm Luger.

Another significant feature is the up-curved "beavertail", which allows the shooter much better and faster gun draws and shifts the shooter's hand towards the muzzle axis, which result in better gun control during rapid fire.

The last improved feature I'd like to mention here, is the extended mag release button, that is very useful for shooters with smaller hands, just like I have. CZ 75 SP01 also comes with factory equipped fiber-optic front sight for faster target acquisition. There's just nothing bad I can point out at this gun. I'm also very curious about the upcoming version with plastic frame.

My gear

Every IPSC shooter needs three main parts of gear to compete
in this beautiful sport:
- the belt
- gun holster
- mag pouches (usually three or four).

All these three parts have something in common, one can't work without each other.

There are many gear producers in the world offering various types of gear; however, only one can offer something special, it's the CR SPEED.

Why? I've never seen as tough and firm belt as the CR SPEED makes. The gun holsters, whether for pistol or revolver, are adjustable in all angles both horizontally and vertically.

And the mag pouches? Also come with adjustable rotation, vertical position and magazine pressure. All parts are made of very hard plastic that lasts even the hardest treatment.

You can start to shoot with CR SPEED and finish your career with the same rig, it just lasts for years! There's no wonder that CR SPEED is the favorite gear of most top shooters all over the world.

Ammunition

The company LIMIT-Z Ltd. is engaged in production and distribution of mainly small-arms ammunition all around the Europe. Their products range consists of either factory made or factory reloaded ammunition. I have been using their 9mm Luger RELOADED ammunition exclusively since 2006 season and I must say that even though the 9mm Luger RELOADED ammo is a low cost ammunition for training it's great for IPSC competition as well!
